Day 5 - 21 Days to Plan a "We"dding

6:54 PM

Notes from a real couple!
1.  Don't try to go it alone.  Enlist the services of an experienced wedding planner from the beginning.  It will make your life easier through the planning process and will give you the freedom to enjoy the moment on your wedding day.

2.  Set realistic expectations about the type of wedding you want to have and the budget you have to spend on the event. There are so many details involved and almost all of them have a price tag, so know the things that are must haves and those that you can compromise on.  Starting with your guest list is an important precursor to planning the remaining details because the number of guests plays a huge part in the scale and cost of the event.

3.  This is YOUR day, so make sure it is what you want and not what everyone else wants.  You don't have to feel guilty about that.  Many people will give their input, but at the end of the day it's about what your vision and dream for your special day.

4.    Don't forget to take it all in and enjoy yourself and each other.  Wedding planning can be stressful and a lot of work, even with a good planner, but don't let that all distract you from the true focus - the love you have for your future life partner and the excitement of starting your life together.
