Every year we hear that Pantone has named the color of the year.  This is year it is Emerald!
Rarely a follower at AbsolutelyBlooming! we named BLUE..... all shades as our color of the year.  Blue has many shades that can stand alone or be paired with another color. 

As I visited the Dallas Arboretum to see the Chihuly exhibit late last fall, I saw several pieces that  inspired my selection. From soft to bold is my 2013 Color of the Year - Shades of Blue!
